Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the green heart of Birmingham, offering a uniquely biodiverse natural environment. It is one of the UK’s most significant historic Botanic Gardens which has remarkably remained intact since 1829, set on 15 acres of landscaped greenery. The Gardens offers something for everyone. With over 30,000 plants to explore in our 4 Victorian Glasshouses and exciting outdoor Gardens including two Alpine Gardens, the Japanese Garden showcasing the National Bonsai Collection, a Pinetum, the Adventure Playground, and a rolling lawn overlooking our authentic bandstand.
