Bristol Song Circle returns to Rough Trade Bristol on Wednesday 11 November for another intimate evening of songs and stories. Hosted by Blair Dunlop, the night brings together Gambian-born, Bristol-based kora player and songwriter Suntou Susso, acclaimed singer-songwriter Natalie Holmes and Bristol favourite Sam Brookes. Rather than a conventional gig, the Song Circle puts the songs and the stories behind them centre stage. Each artist takes a turn performing, then talks about how the song came together, where the ideas came from and what happened along the way, with plenty of room for conversation and audience questions. Wednesday 11 November at Rough Trade Bristol. Doors 7pm, start 7:30pm. Seated and intimate, with tickets priced at £22.50. 14+.
