At the start of November, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fills homes and streets across Mexico with golden marigolds, candlelight, photographs and favourite foods. It's a time when the dead are thought to be closest, and families welcome them back with music, laughter and love. Join for an afternoon of music and remembrance in that spirit, with time for quiet reflection as well as celebration. The day will begin with group singing led by Jannah Warlow from Grief Choir. No musical experience is needed, and you can take part as much or as little as you like. Next, Mexican-British artist and academic Pablo Villierezz (aka Panther Panther!) will share the Day of the Dead traditions he grew up with and lead a musical ceremony: a reflective, uplifting tribute to all those we carry with us.
