The TCT Spice Challenge at The Coconut Tree Those who think they can handle the heat can put their taste buds to the test with The TCT Spice Challenge at The Coconut Tree, running from 24 September to 31 October 2026. Inspired by the fiery flavours of Sri Lankan street food, the challenge invites participants to work their way through seven increasingly spicy levels, choosing between chicken wings or battered cauliflower. Challengers who successfully make it through all seven spice levels will receive their own TCT Spice Challenge Festival Cup. They can then bring the cup back on future visits to participating The Coconut Tree restaurants to claim a free pint of selected draught beer, draught cider or a standard soft drink with a qualifying purchase, valid until 31 December 2026.
