Take a closer look at the restoration of Birnbeck Pier in this free exhibition at Weston Museum. Restoring Birnbeck Pier shows the progress being made on the Grade II* Listed landmark, with previously unseen photographs of the work so far. Most of the images were taken by members of the local A1 Camera Club, the official photographic partner for the project. A display cabinet shows a selection of metalwork from the original pier, along with some interesting and unusual finds uncovered during the restoration. It's a rare chance to see parts of the old pier up close and discover more of its history. The exhibition is in the museum's Community Gallery on the ground floor. Entry to the museum and the exhibition is free. Key details Venue: Weston Museum, Burlington Street, Weston-super-Mare Dates: Friday 6 November 2026 to Saturday 27 February...
