Join us for a special day out as we celebrate winning the Best Day Out in Leicestershire Award! Offering local residents discounted tickets to come and Discover Your Railway! It’s your chance to explore behind the scenes, step inside our beautifully restored stations, and enjoy a great day out with family and friends. Take a heritage train ride, meet our home fleet of locomotives, and see what goes on across our working railway. There’ll be plenty to see and do throughout the weekend - from behind-the-scenes access to our loco shed and footplate visits and refreshments - all set against the backdrop of Britain’s only double track, main line heritage railway.
