“The woods are lovely, dark and deep.” — Robert Frost, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening Mark the Winter Solstice with a special dawn poetry walk through Calderstones Park, celebrating the shortest day of the year and the gradual return of the light. Guests will gather outside Mansion House before sunrise and join The Reader team for a reflective walk sharing poetry inspired by winter, nature, hope and renewal. This intimate seasonal event offers a meaningful opportunity to welcome the turning of the year in the company of others.
