Burns Night at Hobbayne Centre 🏴 Setup for the celebration of great Scots poet! in London on Saturday, 23 January 2027, 18:00-19:00, at THE William...

Every January, we celebrate Scotland's most beloved poet Robert Burns - Rabbie Burns - he's the man who wrote Auld Lang Syne. This year marks the 265th anniversary of his birth. We've been asked to help out with the annual William Hobbayne Centre Burns Night celebration in Hanwell. It's an evening that promises to be loads of fun, with traditional dancing, live music and a Burns supper. If you've never heard the Address to a Haggis, you're welcome to stay to hear it after the task. The task: GoodGym volunteers are needed to finish setting up the tables before the supper and wrap the cutlery in napkins. If you fancy adding a nod to Scotland in what you wear, that'd be most appropriate (think tartan!). Volunteers who wish to stay for the dinner will be offered a table and a complimentary traditional Burns supper - haggis, neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes). There are other tasks GoodGymers can attend on the day - check them out here! ( This is an important annual get-together for the local community in Hanwell and, by helping out, you'll make it a wonderful night for all - come and join in!
