Boy Kill Boy formed in 2004 and from there things moved pretty quickly. They were the first band ever to play at Wireless Festival, played several dates on the NME New Bands tour, opened the Radio 1 stage at the Reading and Leeds festival, and toured with Hard-Fi. All of that and a couple of singles on Fierce Panda later, the band signed to Vertigo Records (Universal Music). It was a bit of a rollercoaster, with a top thirty single (Back Again), a top twenty single (Suzie), tours with Echo & The Bunnymen and The Charlatans in the US, another NME New Bands tour (as headliners this time), a session with Jo Whiley for the Radio 1 Live Lounge, another appearance at Reading and Leeds festival and even an appearance on Top of The Pops.
