Telling the Bees is a joyful, imaginative new children's play for ages 6+, combining folk storytelling, puppetry, music and playful audience interaction. On a blustery hilltop, a young girl holds a big secret. Following an ancient Celtic tradition, she must 'tell the bees' that everything in her world has changed. Step into a world of silver-saddled kelpies, moody brownies, and the beautiful song of the selkie as Hoglets Theatre brings ancient legends to life. While packed with beautiful puppetry, witty storytelling, and audience interaction, Telling the Bees looks beneath the folklore to explore the difficulty of accepting change, how life can challenge us, and how sharing our stories can help us grow.
