Welcome to GoodGym Newcastle We're a friendly and social group that combines exercise with helping out local charities and community groups. Every Monday evening we meet to get active and do a physical task to make a difference in the Newcastle area. The GoodGym motto is 'Do Good, Get Fit'. This task on December 14th Task to be confirmed. We will update this listing with details as soon as possible, please check back here. Where we meet We’ll be meeting at Stepney Bank Stables, NE1 2NP. There’ll be GoodGymers in the reception area, look out for the red or black GoodGym t-shirts if you are new! Stepney Bank Stables has a free car park if you are driving there, but walking, running, cycling or using public transport is recommended. At Stepney Bank Stables you can leave bags and valuables in the staff room, which is able to be locked and is secure. We also have access to the toilet facilities in the building. Participating at GoodGym Newcastle GoodGym is for absolutely everyone aged 18 and above. We welcome runners of all abilities, including absolute beginners or those returning from injury. Unless otherwise stated, there will be a walking option at Monday group runs. Occasionally we will be visiting somewhere further afield, when running, cycling or meeting at the location will be the only realistic options. The listing on our website will clearly state this. There will always be a back marker and/or walk leader on every run or walk to a task, so nobody will ever get left behind - no matter what your pace is.
