Twenty years after their teenage years, a group of women reunite at the same roadside five-and-dime where they once worshipped at the altar of James Dean, swapped secrets, flirted with forbidden romance and dreamed of escaping small-town life. But as memories collide with the present, the boundaries between who these women were, who they wanted to be, and who they have become begin to blur. Beneath the gossip, laughter and nostalgia lies a story of LGBT pride, identity, transformation and the extraordinary lengths we sometimes go to in order to find a place where we can belong. Trigger warnings include: Strong language, transphobia, homophobia, substance use (alcohol and smoking), mild/offstage violence, sex references, trauma and religious discourse. Doors open at 19:00. The show starts at 19:30.
